Adult Dating – Things To Be Wary Of
The adult side of the dating industry has always been a topic for discussion. Some people love them, others loath them, some even fear them. They have people talking about morality and social fibre. They are guaranteed to create a debate.
To be honest, I’m not really interested in these debates. I am adult enough (pun intended) to recognise lots of people use them. They definitely have a role to play in our society. As such, I have analysed this sector of the industry so I can advise you of the pros and cons of adult dating sites, the risks associated with using these sites and the potential rewards.
If you are considering signing up to an adult dating site. Be a little wary. There are risks involved in this branch of the adult dating industry. These risks are a little different for men and women.
Woman face the biggest risks at these types of site. As adult dating sites promote an expectation of sexual activity, women face very real risks of things progressing much faster than they want, and even what they give permission for.
So the best advice I can give to women is to not put yourself in a position of physical vulnerability until you are completely sure that is where you want to be with a person. Make sure your first date is in a public place, if for no other reason than to ensure the person matches the photo and the other details on the dating site.
Only progress things with partners when you trust them enough to believe they will look after you too. Remember all those profiles at the dating site. If you do not trust this person, don’t expose yourself to a potentially bad situation. Just go back to the site and find someone else.
The biggest threats to men on these sites are not dangers to their person, rather dangers to their wallet. Adult dating sites are packed with scammers and unfortunately, most (but not all) of them are pretty women. They are exactly the type of women you wanted to meet on the site.
For example there are women who send you their phone number which, funnily enough is a 1900 number. No-one has a 1900 number as their personal number so I don’t know why men fall for this. Anyway, you call the girl, she encourages you to chat for hours, you get hit with a monstrous phone bill of which she gets a big cut. Thats how 1900 numbers work. Don’t call them!
There are other women who will invite you to their own personal website. In order to communicate with these girls, you’ll need to sign up at their site, which will be a pay per view site. This means that they’ll want to speak to you on their webcam and you will pay them for the privilage. Its a scam as they will never meet you in real life. So avoid the hassle. Don’t join their site and spend you money trying to convince them to meet you. Why would they want to do that when you are paying them not to.
Then there are the mail order scammers. The good looking girls looking for a western husband to save them. These girls will fleece you for everything you have. If you are looking for an international introduction, use professionals in that industry. They’ll protect you from scammers to some degree. An adult dating site is not the place to find such women.
As a man, the best thing you can do to avoid these traps is simply remember why you joined the site. You want to meet some potential partners for some adult real life fun. As soon as a potential partner leads you away from this, move onto the next person. There are millions of profiles at these sites after all.
The rewards of adult dating sites are pretty much the same for men and women. Its simple really. The people who join these sites are very open and honest about what they are looking for both sexually and romantically. It can sometimes be very “in your face”, but this means that when you find someone you like, you know what they want, they know what you want, so the chances are really high that you’ll get exactly what you are looking for. (which is probably something I can’t write about here)
So be careful what you wish for!
